A man who took a record-breaking erection drug to boost his libido may face stiffened penalties from a Singapore Police probe, after a former sexologist claimed he was taking the impotence drug Viagra.
The 27-year-old Singapore man was taken to the Singapore Penitentiary in Darwin after police found Viagra in his pocket. He later pleaded guilty to a charge of importing a fake medication into Singapore.
The victim claimed he had bought Viagra through a friend in China and bought the drug himself from a local pharmacy. He denied it was the actual drug, but the prosecutor said the man had tried to buy it from the pharmacy and then sold it to a friend in Singapore. He denied knowing the man was buying it himself and was told he had a prescription for it.
The trial took place on Wednesday, a day after the police found Viagra in his pocket in the western East Island. They have not yet found out if he used the drug or not.
